The Crisis Centre for Protection and Support of Victims of Domestic Violence in a City Považská Bystrica

The purpose of the Project is to provide temporary accommodation and other social services in a crisis centre for victims of domestic violence in Považská Bystrica, with the overall objective of addressing urgent needs of victims of domestic violence and to decrease this socio-pathological phenomenon in society. Reference is made to the application dated 4 July 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall involve the following activities and results: - building and reconstruction works at Grznárová street 1444 in Považská Bystrica; - equipment of the centre; - operation of the centre; - management and Publicity. The project promoter is the City Považská Bystrica. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Secretariat of the Shelter Movement, Norway. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Slovak Government provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
