The Non Formal Education Centre

The purpose of the Project is to establish a lifelong learning education and labour-market counselling centre in the district of Poltár, with the overall objective of contributing to the development of lifelong learning opportunities. Reference is made to the application dated 7 July 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - public tender for the equipment and services in the lifelong education centre; - Equipping and furnishing of the centre; - Research in lifelong learning needs in the area; - Exchange of experience with Norwegian partner; - Preparation of accredited training modules including in language, IT and managerial skills; - Pilot testing of training courses; - Counselling in the field of employment and education; - Management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Centrum prvého kontaktu pre podnikatelov v Poltári. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with VOX, the Norwegian Institute for Adult Learning. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Slovak Government provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
