Strategic Intelligence for Innovation Policy Enhancement - STRIPE

The purpose of the Project is the development of strategic intelligence tools focusing on partnership building and cluster initiatives, including cross border cooperation with Ukraine, with the overall objective to support the regional innovation policy and regional governance in the Slovak Republic. Reference is made to the application dated 30 June 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: • Mapping and comparison of regional innovation policies and strategic policy tools in 5 members of the EU, Norway, Iceland and Ukraine, purchase of equipment • Elaboration of a proposal for regional strategic information system for the regions of the Slovak Republic, purchase of equipment • Proposal for a cross-border regional innovation policy framework of the Eastern Slovakia and Ukraine • Establishment of an interactive website and database • Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Technical University of Kosice. The Focal Point shall ensure that Slovak Republic provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
