Green house - cultural heritage preservation in Banská Štiavnica

The purpose of the Project is to preserve the cultural heritage and traditional crafts related to brewing in Banska Stiavnica with the overall objective to contribute to the preservation of European cultural heritage and at the same time to a sustainable development of traditional crafts. Reference is made to the application dated 17 January 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Renovating the 'Green House/Cacányho House' Brewery building; - Setting up a demonstration brewery for tourists, for educational, cultural and other social purposes; - Management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the ERB - Eduard Rada Breweries. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 50.77 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
