Increase of presentation capability, heredity, historicity and extraordinary exihibits of the Museum of Wheels with suport of scholary toy

The purpose of the Project is to establish a functional Museum of Wheels of European scale in Trencin that will be attractive for both professionals and the general public with the overall objective to preserve the world’s cultural and historical heritage of wheels and thus contribute to the conservation of European cultural heritage. Reference is made to the application dated 17 January 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Purchased exhibits, replicas to complete the exhibition collection; - Protective measures for the exhibits in place; - Produce an information film about the history of wheels; - Purchase IT equipment for interactive displays; - Digitalised archive on history and documents about wheels; - Install an access lift/platform for people with disabilities; - Install a lift for improved handling of exhibits; - Management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the company PRODUKT SK, s.r.o. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 61.11 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
