Springboards of Foster home Nádej in Bernolákovo

The purpose of the Project is to increase the total capacity and social services offering for persons in foster care, with the overall objective of improving the conditions for their care and reintegration. Reference is made to the application dated 20 March 2006, and to correspondence with the Focal Point dated 26 February 2007, 29 June 2007, and 16 July 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - project management; - acquisition/purchase and renovation of two houses; - construction of a flat; - furnishing new accommodation spaces with furniture and appliances; - hiring of therapists, psychologists, and temporary staff/interns; - training of foster home staff; - operation of 3 'springboards' (programmes) targeting socially marginalised children, pregnant women, and young adults; and - publicity activities. The Project Promoter is Foster home Nádej. The Focal Point shall ensure that the State budget of the Slovak Republic will provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
