The negative attitudes of the majority society towards Roma prevails in Slovakia. The aim of the project is to contribute to the reduction of discrimination and the elimination of prejudice against the Roma. This goal will be pursued through the production of 4 films and 12 podcasts about the Roma, which will be presented in a virtual space, in schools and in community centres. The films will bring an undistorted view of the lives of Roma teenagers, their possibilities and abilities. The other category of films are films about Roma who have found employment in society and are an example for the Roma and non-Roma public. The project uses modern online tools to provide a realistic picture of people from marginalized Roma communities in order to alleviate tensions between the Roma minority and the majority and to alleviate the negative attitude and prejudices of the majority society. The applicant implements the project in the 2nd call with a Roma minority as a target group as well, but with a different focus.
