The project is aimed at helping Roma children and young people, who are not guided by their parents to the importance of education, meaningful use of free time and sports. Through peer groups, it helps them with education, provides space for personal development, the development of manual skills, social contacts, self-motivation, breaking down prejudices and taking responsibility for their behavior and discovering their benefits for others. The project focuses on helping in a Roma community in Luník IX in Košice, suffering from high crime and high, multi-generational, unemployment. The project will involve 100 residents of the housing estate belonging to the vulnerable group.

The project partners are the Salesians of Don Bosco in Košice, who have been working in the Lunik IX housing estate since 2008, and have been cooperating with a civic association for a long time. The partner provides the civic association Ohen nadeje with premises for activities, and helps in terms of personnel and finances.
