Volunteering for All

The "Volunteering for All" project focuses on supporting existing long - term volunteer programs in the Banská Bystrica district. In addition to direct assistance to vulnerable groups (in the form of tutoring, assistance, intergenerational understanding, ...) thanks to the voluntary work of young people and seniors, it also brings changes in their attitudes and stereotypes towards marginalized groups. The project wants to help stabilize the ongoing implementation in organizations that have decided to implement such programs. Organizations that will be provided with support for the maintenance of long-term programs are located in districts that are since 2015 included among the least developed districts of the Slovak Republic, specifically in the districts of Rimavská Sobota, Lučenec and Revúca. This project is a continuation of a successful project implemented through the 1st call of the ACF program. The Volunteer Center plans to involve 250 children, young people and volunteers in its activities.
