The project "Dance without Barriers" is focused on dance and movement training of children with disabilities throughout the school year. The aim of the dance training is to motivate them to music and movement, create choreography and presentation to the public. The intention is also to overcome the barriers that prevent handicapped children from overcoming new challenges, as well as to eliminate the prejudices of the majority towards people with disabilities. The project will also help bring handicapped and healthy children closer together, and thus the inclusion of this vulnerable group in the society. The project is a continuation of a successful project implemented through the 1st call of the ACF program, it is implemented in Košice and involves 10 children and young people from the vulnerable group.

The joint school in Košice is involved in the project as a partner, with which the project will be implemented together. The role of the partner in the project is to create conditions for the implementation of dance trainings for handicapped children on school grounds, provide help and guidance to the dance trainers in dance classes and consultations in connection with the individual needs of students.
