The aim of the project is to create a motivational environment for children and youth from vulnerable groups in the Luník IX housing estate in Košice, using innovative methods and non-formal education in order to improve their knowledge and skills. The aim is also to involve children and youth from this group in cooperation with the majority, namely development and educational activities of an inclusive nature, which will help to break down barriers and integration within the society in Košice. The activities of the project also include the organization of 2 open events under the name “community days” for minimum of 50 participants. Children will participate in the preparation of these events, which will develop their further skills, self-confidence and self-esteem. The event will be open, which will contribute to a greater connection with the majority. 30 vulnerable children and 50 vulnerable adults within the education and the events will directly benefit from the project. The strength of the project is the inclusion and direct connection of Roma children with children from the majority.
