Science Educational Centre for Sustainable Development

The purpose of the Project is to establish the Science Educational Centre for Sustainable Development at the University of Maribor, with the overall objective of implementing conditions for high quality educational and research work in the area of sustainable development of natural sciences. Reference is made to the application dated 14 July 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Preparation of public procurements and purchase of equipment; 2. Installation of equipment and preparation for educational and research activities; 3. Implementation of workshops, science days, faculty open house and science seminars for teachers and 4. Management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Maribor. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
