CULTURAL REVIVAL OF CITY CORE

The purpose of the Project is to renovate the theatre of Koper and to open its programme to a larger public, with the overall objective of revitalising and preserving the historic city centre of Koper. Reference is made to the application dated 29 November 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - improved building and functionality of the Theatre Koper; - broadened and adapted programme of the theatre to a larger audience including people with special needs; - integration of people with special needs through cultural expression. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Koper. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with Theatre Koper. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 79.66 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
