Technical Assistance Fund for Grant Management

The purpose of the Project is to provide support to the Focal Point and Paying Authority for the management of EEA/Norwegian Financial Mechanisms, with the overall objective of supporting social and economic cohesion in the Republic of Slovenia by successfully implementing the EEA/Norwegian Financial Mechanisms. Reference is made to the application dated 15 February 2007 and correspondence with the Focal Point dated 28 March 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - preparation, evaluation, financial flow, and monitoring of the assistance and projects; - meetings of steering committees (project selection committees), monitoring committees, participation in annual meetings with the EFTA States, and other meetings with the EFTA States relating to the implementation of the assistance; - promotional and information activities; - audits and on-the-spot checks of projects. The Project Promoter is the Government Office for European Affairs in Slovenia, i.e. the National Focal Point of Slovenia. The Focal Point shall provide at least 15 percent of the total eligible project costs.
