'Assessment and support of public policies in Romania by means of a sociologic panel survey'

The purpose of the Project is to develop the administrative capacity of supervision, assessment and adjustment of implementation processes of public policies at the Agency for Governmental Strategies, with the overall objective of enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of public policy decision-making in Romania. Reference is made to the application dated 11 June 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - organise consultations with stakeholders and carry out surveys on public policy impact; - organise public debates to collect feedback from end beneficiaries; - dissemination of information; - project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Agency for Governmental Strategies (Agentia pentru Strategii Guvernamentale). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 20 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
