Working together for better life of vulnerable people

The purpose of the Project is to increase capacity of the municipal public authorities in Bucharest to elaborate social services strategies, with the overall objective to improve the social services provision for vulnerable persons in Bucharest. Reference is made to the application, dated 12 June 2008, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - provision of training for the public authorities in charge in the field of social services; - develop consultation mechanisms between social services stakeholders and local authorities and social services strategies; - organise a study visit to Norway to ensure know how transfer; - development of social services strategy for Bucharest and its 6 districts; - development of evaluation methodology; - awareness raising activities; - project management. The Project Promoter is the civil Society Development Foundation. The Focal Point shall ensure that at least 10.32 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost are provided by the Project Promoter.
