The purpose of the Project is to develop and apply an efficient working methodology with parents of pre-adolescents and improve school counsellors' competences in providing familial training in educational abilities regarding drug use prevention in Ilfov, Bihor and Constanta counties, with the overall objective of increasing the influence of family protection factors and diminishing the family risk factors regarding drug use in Romania. Reference is made to the application dated 10 June 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - elaborate the working methodology, the supporting materials and the awareness raising strategies; - carry out a comparative analysis and organise a good practice seminar; - select, train and supervise the school counsellors; - provide training and other services for parents / families; - produce the guide for school psychologists and parents; - management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the National Anti-Drug Agency. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Administration and Interior provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
