Innovative Tools and Models for Vocational Education and Training in Central and Western Romania (MoVE-IT)

The purpose of the Project is to stimulate and improve the interinstitutional partnership between vocational training centres and the "Petru Maior" University of Targu-Mures (UPM) to create a network for vocational education and training in Central and Western Romania; with the overall objective of improving the quality, accessibility and supply of vocational education and training services for further development of human resources. Reference is made to the application dated 10 June 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: (1) Study of specification of the technical infrastructure, the required knowledge transfer and the practical organisation of training delivery; (2) Establishing vocational training ICT and video infrastructure; (3) Instructor training ("Train-the-trainer" programme); (4) Delivery of vocational training courses; (5) Evaluation of project results, including internal and external evaluation; (6) Dissemination of project results; (7) Project management (including publicity). The Project Promoter is Universitatea Petru Maior din Targu-Mures. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with Sør-Trøndelag University College (Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag). The Focal Point shall ensure that at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs is provided by the Project Promoter.
