Accessibility increase to highly specialised cardiological care in the Wojewódzki Szpital Zespolony in Torun

The purpose of Project is to develop a Cardiologial Centre for treatment and an Ambulatory Phase III rehabilitation and prevention unit, with the overall objective to improve the health of residents of the Torun region by providing them with improved access to highly specialized cardiological care. Reference is made to the application dated 11 December 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shal include the following activities and results: - Construction and renovation works to the current Provincial Cardiological Clinic for the new centre; - Procurement and purchase of equipment for the new cardiological centre; - Employment and training of new staff for operations of the new centre; - Management and publicity The Project Promoter is the Provincial Polyclinical Hospital in Torun (Wojewódzki Szpital Zespolony in Torun). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
