The purpose of the Project is to improve the monitoring and inspection capacity of the laboratory in the Voivodship Inspectorate for Envirormental Protection (VIEP) in Lódz, with the overall objective of contributing to environmental quality in Lodzskie Voivodship through better compliance with legal provisions on environmental protection. Reference is made to the application dated 28 March 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Project management; - Preparing, organizing and executing 5 tenders (purchase of new equipment and software); - Implementation and validation of new research methodologies; - Promotion and information. The Project Promoter is the Voivodship Inspectorate for Environmental Protection in Lódz. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project costs.
