„Professional partnership between the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Iceland in the utilization of renewable energy resources (RES): graduate education, practical training, and renewable energy research.”

The purpose of the Project is to foster education in renewable energy in Poland, with the overall objective of improvement of ecology education by promoting principles of sustainable energy policy. Reference is made to the application, dated 31 August 2008, and any subsequent correspondence through the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Grants for 12-month Master's Degree studies for 40 Polish students at RES; - Development of reference programme; and - Project management; - Publicity. The Project Promoter is the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the School for Renewable Energy Science (RES). The roles and responsibilities of the partners, including financial responsibility, shall be determined in the partnership agreement between the Warsaw University of Technology and the School for Renewable Energy Science. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 40.23 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
