Rationalization of implementing and executing environmental protection regulations by refitting the Voivodship Inspectorate for Environment Protection in Poznan with modern control and measurement instruments.

The purpose of the Project is to improve monitoring and inspection capacity of the laboratory in the Voivodship Inspectorate for Envirormental Protection (VIEP) in Poznan, with the overall objective of contributing to environmental quality in the Wielkopolskie Voivodship through better compliance with legal provisions on environmental protection. Reference is made to the application dated 31 March 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Purchase of modern control and measurement instruments; -Training of users of new equipment; - Monitoring and measurement activities; - Publicity and project management. The Project Promoter is the Voivodship Inspectorate for Environmental Protection in Poznan. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project costs.
