Promotion of the sustainable development by usage of the urban natural resources in Tczew

The purpose of the Project is to raise awareness in relation to the natural values of a bird mainstay in the urbanisation of Tczew, with the overall objective of preserving and protecting the bird mainstay in a Natura 2000 area of the Valley of the Lower Vistula. Reference is made to the application dated 28 March 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Establishing an inventory of the biodiversity of the area and its evaluation; 2. Making the natural didactic path together with cleaning the green area; 3. Awareness raising; 4. Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Tczew. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Polish Bird Protection Society (OTOP). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Municipality of Tczew provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
