Scout nature

The purpose of the Project is to raise the ecological awareness of the participants of the Scout Nature project; with the overall objective of increasing ecological awareness in support of sustainable development, and increasing cooperation between scout organisations. Reference is made to the application dated 27 March 2008, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: (1) Development and implementation of the educational campaign "Four Elements - Friends of Man". (2) Development and implementation of the educational programme "World around us": (2a) development of the programme, (2b) ecological workshops, (2c) field activities, (2d) creation of an e-learning platform, (2e) educational exchanges between Poland and Norway. (3) Purchase of equipment. (4) Project management (including publicity). The Project Promoter is the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP). Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in cooperation with the Norwegian Guide and Scout Association (NSF). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
