Open Access Recreation Zones Situated Nearby the Educational Institutions - the Guarantee of Healthy Lifestyle for Children and Teenagers of Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski

The purpose of the Project is to create modern sport grounds and develop programmes to promote physical activities for children and youth in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, with the overall objective to improve the quality of health conditions provided for children and youth in Poland. Reference is made to the application dated 12 April 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - construction of four sport grounds and creation of recreational area (at Primary Schools no 3, no. 5, no 7 and the State Gymnasium no. 3); - develop rehabilitation, sport and recreational programmes for children and youth; - management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski Commune. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 29 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
