Extension of Border Guard Post in Braniewo

The purpose of the Project is to modernise the Border Guard post in Braniewo, with the overall objective of strengthening the protection of the Schengen area by improving the infrastructure at the EU's external border. Reference is made to the application dated 19 August 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - territorial development (including heating network, water-pipe network, and sewage system, electrical network and lightening of the area); - extension of administration building (including construction works, boiler room technology, sanitary installations, electrical installations, wiring system, security and fire alarm system); - construction of a garage and technical building (including construction works, sanitary installations, electrical installations, technical equipment); - land development (including road works: roads, squares, parking lots; building works: fence, foundation for generator, kennels and circuit for dogs; arrangement of green belts); - management and publicity activities. The applicant is the Warminsko - Mazurski Border Guard Division. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
