Providing women with the highest standard of care through the development of endoscope techniques in the Gynaelogic Clinic in the University Hospital of Bialystok

The purpose of the Project is to implement new, low invasive surgical procedures at the Independent Public Clinical Hospital of Medical Academy, with the overall objective to improve the availability and quality of medical services provision for women and fetuses in the Podlaskie region, in Poland. Reference is made to the application dated 16 April 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Purchase and installation of medical equipment for the endoscopic techniques; - Provision of training and organisation of seminars for the medical staff; - Awareness raising activities; - Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Independent Public Clinical Hospital of Medical Academy (Samodzielny Publiczny Szpital Kliniczny Akademii Medycznej). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Health provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
