"DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF DEDICATED IT SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING INNOVATIVE PUBLIC SERVICES OF LOCAL ADMINISTRATION IN KRAKOW"

The purpose of the Project is to create an advanced IT system for collecting, processing and rendering spatial data and improve the public services in the field of investment support, with the overall objective of increasing the efficiency of local administration regarding electronic services in Krakow municipality. Reference is made to the application, dated 26 March 2008 and any subsequent correspondance with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Tender procedure; - Studies and analyses; - Preparation of the database; - Purchase and implementation of hardware, software and licenses. - Preparation and administration of the internet portal; - Study visits and related training conferences; - Management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Krakow. Subject to national law, the project shall be implemented with Bærum kommune (Norway). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
