Asepsis, antisepsis and sterilization - patient safety at the Independent Public Specialist Health Care Centre in Lebork (SPS ZOZ)

The purpose of the Project is to increase the safety and health protection of patients by reducing the incidence of infections occurrence at the Independent Public Specialist Health Care Centre in Lebork, with the overall objective to improve the quality, access and efficiency of health services in Poland. Reference is made to the application dated 10 April 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - reconstruction works, including new ventilation and electricity systems, at the central sterilization department; - purchase and installation of equipment; - provision of training for the medical staff; - management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Independent Public Specialist Health Care Centre in Lebork. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lebork Poviat provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
