Transfer of know-how on professional counselling for young people

The purpose of the Project is to provide training for professionals dealing with career counselling to young people, with the overall objective to improve the quality of career counselling services in cooperation with Norwegian, Ukrainian and Belorussian partners. Reference is made to the application dated 14 July 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - organising workshops and seminars for 45 participants from Norway, Ukraine, Poland and Belarus; - organising traineeships for 30 participants; - organising 4 study tours for 10 persons each; - preparing and printing thematic materials; - establishment of an internet platform; - project management and promotional activities. The Project Promoter is the Europejski Dom Spotkan - Fundacja Nowy Staw (European Meeting Center - Nowy Staw Foundation). Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with: • OO “Humanitarnyj Most”, Brest, Belarus (Humanitarian Bridge) • Ochotnicze Hufce Pracy (OHP), Lublin, Poland (Voluntary Work Centre) • The Pomeranian Association “Common Europe” (PSWE), Gdansk, Poland • Papirbredden Career Centre, Drammen, Norway, • Zachodnioo-Ukrainski Centrum Zasobow, Lviv, Ukraine (Western Ukrainian Centre of Resources), • Development Fund of the Volyn National University The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 10.23 percent of the total estimated eligible Project cost.
