Centre of Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation

The purpose of the Project is to transfer knowledge and best-practice solutions from Krasnik in Poland to regions in Ukraine, with the overall objective of diminishing social disparities in the Polish-Ukrainian border region and supporting regional development in Poland and Ukraine. Reference is made to the application dated 18 July 2008, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities: 1. Planning and implementation of distance learning activities; 2. Organisation of study visits for representatives in the Ukrainian administration; 3. Organisation of seminars on entrepreneurship and development of the business environment; 4. Organisation of economic forums for local and regional actors; 5. Organisation of The Social Communication and International Krasnik Festival (2 times); 6. Organisation of a bike rally from Krasnik to Lviv; 7. Evaluation and monitoring of the Project; 8. Project management, publicity and audit. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Krasnik. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with The Local Democracy Development Foundation, the European Dialog Association, the Association Lubelski Business Club and the Polish-Ukrainian Economic Chamber. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
