Liquidation of the asbestos plate insulation and the thermomodernization of Legnica District Office Building Facilities.

The purpose of the Project is to increase the energy efficiency of three public building facilities in the Legnica District; the Legnica District Office Complex (two adjoined buildings), the Staircase building of the "Przasnik" Social Help Centre for Adults in Brennik, and the District School Complex in Chojnów, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application dated 28 November 2005 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: I. Thermo-modernisation in the Legnica District Ofiffce Complex: - Liquidation of asbestos plate insulation; - Thermal insulation of external walls and change of windows; - Thermal insulation of roofs, ceilings and modernisation of central heating system - Thermal insulation of external walls and change of windows in corridor joining the two buildings that comprise the District Office building complex. II. Thermo-modernisation in the District School Complex in Chojnow: - Thermal insulation of external walls, change of woodwork, thermal insulation of the roof. - Replacement of windows, external doors and modernisation of central heating system III. Thermo-modernisation works in the Staircase building of the Przasnik Social Help Centre in Brennik: - Thermal insulation of external walls and change of windows and woodwork. - Replacement of external doors. IV. Construction Supervision V. Management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Legnica District (Legnica Powiat). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 32.57 percent of the total eligible Project cost.
