Warsaw day care centres assist families in bringing up children. Healthy child = healthy family = healthy society

The purpose of the Project is to improve health awareness among parents and caretakers with regards to children, with the overall objective of reducing child sickness incidences caused by inappropriate care or nutrition in Warsaw. Reference is made to the application dating 12 April 2007, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - purchase of equipment, teaching materials and furniture; - preparation of workshops (including furnishing the day care centres with equipment needed for conducting the trainings, preparing and printing of the training materials and hiring of the additional personnel for conducting each of the workshops); - workshops in upbringing skills; - workshops on the hygiene of a young child and the prophylaxis of posture defects; - workshops on the topic area: small children and nutrition; - management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Capital City of Warsaw. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15.00 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
