Health Promotion through Sport - a Complex of Open Multi-functional School Playing Fields in the Poznan District

The purpose of the Project is to create nine open multifunctional sports facilities and playgrounds and implementing a sports programme in the Poznan district, with the overall objective of improving health condition in children and youth. Reference is made to the application dated 11 April 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Renovation and construction of 9 multifunctional sports facilities and playgrounds for children; 2. Purchase of sports equipment; 3. Organisation of sports and recreational events; 4. Organisation of sports and after-school classes and 5. Publicity and management. The Project Promoter is Poznan Poviat (Poznan District). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
