The energetic development of communities (gminas) conformable to nature [Rozwój energetyczny gmin zgodny z natura]

The purpose of the Project is to raise awareness of renewable energy technologies, their benefits and possibilities for their use in selected municipalities of Pomorskie and Malopolskie Regions, with the overall objective of increasing the share of renewable energy in Pomorskie and Malopolskie Regions. Reference is made to the application, dated 14 April 2007, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The complete Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Launch conference and a series of workshops, seminars and debates on renewable energies; 2. Study-visits; 3. Development of strategies for local governments on renewable energy, and preparation of guidebook for other municipalities; 4. Project management (including promotion and publicity). The Project Promoter is the Foundation for Energy Conservation in Gdansk. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 10.04 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
