Dental disease prophylaxis for children and youth from the municipal area of Gorzów Wielkopolski

The purpose of the Project is to increase dental visits amongst children and youth through implementing a caries preventive and therapeutic program, with the overall objective of improving dental health of children and youth in Gorzow Wielkopolski. Reference is made to the application dated 12 April 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Organisational setup and training of dentists and coordinators ( teachers and care persons); 2. Coordinate school activities regarding prophylaxis and information activities; 3. Prophylaxis treatment to children, youth and disabled people and 4. Project management (including controlling and monitoring) and publicity. The Project Promoter is Miasto Gorzów Wielkopolski (the City of Gorzow Wielkopolski). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
