"The creation of an open recreation zone for children, located in Skwierzyna"

The purpose of the Project is to facilitate after school sporting activities in the Skwierzyna commune for both able and disabled children through provision of adequate sports and recreational infrastructure, with the overall objective of improvement of physical and mental condition and decrease in physical and social pathology amongst children and youth. Reference is made to the application dated 11 April 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Construction of a multifunctional sports field; 2. Integration activities for disabled and able children; 3. Organization of the after-school activities, championships and tournaments and 4. Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is Gmina Skwierzyna (the commune of Skwierzyna). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
