Programme for Prevention, Diagnostics and Therapy of Posture Defects "Straight to Health"

The purpose of the Project is to establish a program for preventive diagnostics and therapy of posture defects, with the overall objective of improving the access to quality rehabilitation of posture defects and increase the knowledge about the issue in the city of Zielona Góra and the surrounding area. Reference is made to the application dated 13 April 2007, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - installation of playground with health promoting games facilities for children; - purchase of rehabilitation equipment; - training for teachers and parents; - preventive examinations (screening campaign, specialist diagnostics and individual therapy); and - project management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Centre of Rehabilitation for Disabled Children and Young People "PROMYK" Independent Public Healthcare Centre. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
