"Implementing the idea of schools promoting health in the territory of the Myslenice Poviat through the implementation of selected prevention programmes and health promotion"

The purpose of the Project is to promote healthy lifestyles among young people in the Myslenice Poviat by implementing important prevention measures including dental services, with the overall objective of reducing civilisation-related diseases among the younger generation. Reference is made to the application dated 16 April 2007, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1) Implementation of 5 prevention programs related to a. dental health b. breast cancer c. obesity d. faulty postures e. stress; 2) Purchase of equipment related to the implementation of prevention programmes for dental care, breast cancer and obesity/faulty posture; 3) Promotional activities and publicity, including the organisation of conferences; 4) Project management. The Project Promoter is the Myslenice Poviat. The Project shall be implemented in partnership with two partners in Norway, Dentist M.N.T.F. Dr. Tor W. Dietzel, Solum legesenter and Dr. Adam Pietrzykowski, specialist general practitioner. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
