Local Network of Environmental Education for the Environment

The purpose of the Project is to implement educational activities on topics related to animal rights and protection of the environment, with the overall objective of raising awareness on environmental issues and strengthening the network between the stakeholders for stronger and more frequent future cooperation. Reference is made to the application dated 11 April 2007, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Campaign on Local Ecological Style of Living 2. Training and promotion campaign for youth 3. Photography, drawing and painting competition for youth 4. Environmental lectures, nature trips and environmental projects 5. Campaign on animal rights and welfare 6. Training of volunteers on animal rights and animal care 7. Project promotion and publicity, information, management and audit. The Project Promoter is The City of Szczecin. The Project shall be implemented in partnership with the League of Nature Conservation in Szczecin, the Polish Youth Hostel Association in West Pomerania and the Society for Protection of Animals in Poland, Szczecin Division. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
