GOOD DIAGNOSIS – TREATMENT – LIFE

The purpose of the Project is to increase the detectability of digestive system disease related changes among children, with the overall objective of improving the gastroenterological health state of children in the Silesia region and to decrease the tumour rate amongst children. Reference is made to the application dated 10 April 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - project management, - purchase of medical equipment, - prophylactic screenings, - training of specialists (GP and pediatrics), and - publicity and dissemination of results. The Project Promoter is the Prof. Stanislaw Szyszko Independent Public Clinical Hospital no 1 of Silesian Medical University in Katowice. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Polish Ministry of Health provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
