„Implementation of physical activity development program for children in Nekla municipality – Nekla ready, steady, go!”

The purpose of the Project is to increase the physical activity of children and youth with the overall objective of improving the health status of children and youth from Nekla municipality. Reference is made to the application, dated 13 April 2007, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: •construction of 5 open access playgrounds located in At Dabrowskiego street and in At Chopina Street in Nekla, in Podstolice, in Targowa Gorka and in Zasutowo; •education and training of sport leaders; •organization of sport activities; and •publicity and management. The Project Promoter is 'Nekla Municipality'. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Norwegian non-governmental sport organization called 'Akershus Idrettskrets'. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
