Solar roofs for the Dzierzgon Commune

The purpose of the Project is to increase renewable energy in the heating system of water by installing solar collectors, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 16 April 2007 and all subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Preparation of the technical implementation; - Installation of solar collectors in 294 private households in the commune; - Modernisation of heat distribution network; - Education of inhabitants on harmfulness of burning waste material in boiler rooms; - Management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Dzierzgon Commune. The Project shall be implemented in partnership with the households benefiting from the installation of the solar heating systems. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Dzierzgon Commune provides at least 15 percent and that the households benefiting from the installation of the solar heating systems provide at least 15% of the total eligible Project costs.
