The purpose of the Project is to renovate and revitalise the Krasnogruda manor complex in order to enable the establishment of an International Dialogue Centre, with the overall objective of conserving and promoting European cultural heritage in the Podlasie region while stimulating cross-border dialogue and co-operation. Reference is made to the application dated 10 April 2007, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Restoration of the manor house, - Restoration of the manor outbuilding, - Conservation and extension of the former aviaries, - Construction and modernization of technical infrastructure (pipes, sewers, powerlines), - Restoration of the park and - Project management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is Fundacja Pogranicze (Borderland Foundation). Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (NIKU). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
