Installation of Renewable Energy Sources in PTTK Objects in Bieszczady and Lower Beskidy Mountains

The purpose of the Project is to replace outdated heating and electricity equipment at mountain hostels by installing solar collectors, heat pumps and a hybrid power station, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 14 April 2007 and all subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Preparation and implementation of a public procurement process; - Installation of solar collectors in 7 mountain hostels; - Installation of a heating pump together with a glycol pipeline in 2 mountain hostels; - Installation of hybrid power station with a wind turbine and photovoltaic panels in 1 mountain hostel; - Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Polish Tourist Country-Lovers' Society (PTTK). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 30 percent of the total eligible Project cost.
