Solution of the problem of environment degradation in the commune Lutocin - construction of the communal sewage treatment plant.

The purpose of the Project is to provide wastewater treatment and sewer network in Lutocin Municipality, with the overall objective of improved public health, surface and ground water ecology. Reference is made to the application dated 14 March 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Tender procedure; - Construction of gravity collectors; - Construction of pressure pipeline; - Construction of 3 network pump stations; - Construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) prepared for later extension; - Establish connections for users to the systems; and - Management and publicity. The Project Promoter is Lutocin Commune-Local Government. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15.3 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
