DEVELOPMENT OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND CONSTRUCTION OF SEWAGE SYSTEM NETWORK IN KOSZYCE COMMUNITY

The purpose of the Project is to provide additional waste water treatment capacity and sewer network extension for the cities of Koszyce-Podgaje, Jaksice-Dolany, Soklowice and Morsko in Koszyce community, with the overall objective of improved public health, surface and ground water ecology. Reference is made to the application dated 12 April 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Tender procedure; - Extension and refurbishment of the WWTP in Wlostowice; - Construction of sewer system networks in 4 villages (Koszyce-Podgaje, Jaksice-Dolany, Sokolowice, and Morsko); - Construction and connection of 10 intermediate and 4 household pumping stations; - Establish connection for users to the sewer system; - Organising of general and dedicated training; and - Publicity and management. The Project Promoter is the Koszyce Municipality. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 32.30 percent of the total eligible Projects costs.
