Professional development programme for the staff of Customs Chamber in Gdynia in the context of the reform of customs and taxation system

The purpose of the Project is the strengthening professional qualifications and skills among the employees of Customs Chamber in Gdynia and Customs Offices in Gdynia, Gdansk and Slupsk , with the overall objective to increase the work efficiency and providing high standards of services rendered by the Customs Chamber and Customs Offices in Poland. Reference is made to the application, dated 7 December, 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: •Provision of postgraduate studies in management, economics and finances, law, environment protection, chemical metrology, IT, information protection, •Provision of specialist courses in foreign languages, financial audit, IT, information security, personal data protection and others •Provision of training in professional ethics in the context of organisational changes • Project management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Customs Chamber of Gdynia. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Finance provides at least 15 percent of the eligible project costs.
