Modernization of the operation of the Office of the Warsaw City Council and the Secretariats of the Warsaw Districts Councils

The purpose of the Project is to provide training for the staff of the Warsaw City and District Council Offices, with the overall objective to increase the efficiency of work at the Warsaw City and District Council Offices. Reference is made to the application, dated 14 November, 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: • Training for employees in software operation, law, team cooperation, English language skills; and for management staff in communication, conflict management and performance appraisal. • Purchase of laptop and projector. • Workshops and study visit in partnership with the Norwegian partner, the Commune of Oslo. • Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Capital City of Warsaw. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the City of Oslo. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the eligible costs.
