Modernization of the Border Guard Post in WLODAWA

The purpose of the Project is to modernise the Border Guard post in Wlodawa, with the overall objective of strengthening the protection of the Schengen area by improving the infrastructure at the EU's external border. Reference is made to the application, dated 8 October 2007, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - demolition of the existing administration building; - construction of a new administration building; - modernisation of the existing garage; - construction of a new garage and technical building; - construction of pavements, drives and parking places; - construction of dog pens; - management and promotion. The Project Promoter is the Nadbuzanski Department of the Border Guard. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
